It has happened again: we are about to graduate 89 History majors who will leave Dartmouth after Commencement on Sunday, June 8.  We are sorry to say goodbye but wish them well on their journey, wherever it may take them.  Here are a few of their plans for the immediate future:

Mark Andriola:

I will be living in Manhattan and working as a consultant for McKinsey & Company in the Stamford, Connecticut office. After a few years at McKinsey, I plan to attend law school.

Evan Bloom:

I am a Marine, and will be going active duty in September. I will be attending flight school, and training to become a pilot.

Justin Einhorn:

I will be moving to Chicago, IL for a position in McMaster Carr’s General Management program, hoping to complete some part-time masters work during my time there in the coming years.

Maria Fernandez:

I will be around Dartmouth for another year working at Rauner as the Edward Connery Lathem ’51 Special Collections intern.

Jennifer Gargano:

I will be working at the Tucker Foundation as the AmeriCorps*VISTA College Pathways Coordinator for the SEAD program.

Bronson Green:

Next year I will serve as the Operations Coordinator for the New England Patriots and Kraft Sports Group at Gillette Stadium.

Lyndsay Haut:

After graduation, I will be moving to New York City to begin work as an analyst at Centerview Partners, a boutique investment bank.

Noemi Hormann:

Next year, I will be doing a service year with the program City Year at a public school in San Antonio, TX. The following year, I will be attending the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education to earn a master’s degree in Education, Culture, and Society.

Alesy Iturrey:

Next year, I’ll be in New York City pursuing a career in advertising. I’ll be spending the summer at home, enjoying the warm weather in Miami, FL, with my family. To the History Department, and to all my professors, I just wanted to say: becoming a History major was one of the best decisions I made at Dartmouth. Thank you for everything!

Ryan Kim:

I will be working for Oliver Wyman in Chicago.

Ben Levander:

Next year I will be teaching in Botswana and traveling. The year after I will be starting at Yale Law School.

Melissa Matsuoka:

Next year I will be working as an analyst at Sheridan Capital Advisory, a boutique investment bank in southern California.

Nikolas Medrano:

I’ll be moving to San Francisco and working in People Operations at Box, a cloud collaboration technology company.

Ellen Nye:

I’m pursuing an MPhil in Social and Economic History under the co-supervision of Dr. Kate Fleet and Dr. Craig Muldrew at Cambridge University this fall. I will be affiliated with Clare Hall.

Paul Pasciucco:

Next year, I will be working at Bridgewater Associates as an Investment Associate.

Eliana Piper:

I will be working as a People Operations Associate at Google headquarters in California.

Karl Schutz:

I will be teaching English in Korea on a Fulbright grant.

Andrew Shanahan:

Having proved my parents wrong by completing my Dartmouth degree, I will move forward by teaching elementary school at Harlem Success Academy through Teach for America. I have no official plans for the years after my TFA commitment, although I plan on going to law school in the near future.

Gilbert Whelan:

I’ll be ​a Post-Graduate Analyst Intern at Egon Zehnder in Palo Alto starting on June 16th. My thanks to those in the History Department who have helped make my time as an undergraduate at Dartmouth enriching and insightful.

Eve Zelinger:

After leaving Dartmouth, I will start my professional career at the Manhattan District Attorney’s office, where I will be working for the next two years as a paralegal in the Rackets Bureau.
